Events

Community events are at the heart of our team's commitment to fostering meaningful connections and making a positive impact.

CDFI aims to be involved in local initiatives, fostering the spirit of community and demonstrating our unwavering support for the communities we serve by volunteering at local community events that align with CDFI's mission and vision.

Imagine having your American dream shattered simply because you lack immigration status. This is the harsh reality for many underserved individuals, facing the heartbreaking choice of leaving their families behind. The Famílias Unidas program was initiated to change this narrative, striving to keep families together and empower low-income individuals on their journey toward legal status, economic self-sufficiency, and active community participation👏.

In collaboration with the Community Council of Idaho, Connections Credit Union sponsored and attended their annual gala to further strengthen our commitment to this transformative program. By providing access to affordable legal services, we are not only helping individuals navigate the immigration system but also protecting them from exploitation, abuse, and violence.

Familias Unidas means more than just legal status; it means fostering love, peace, and stability within our community. Our support for this program goes beyond the immediate goal—it's a commitment to contribute to the financial freedom of those who need it most. This gala marks just the beginning of our journey towards building a more vibrant community and enhancing social and civic life. Our commitment to the CDFI mission is incredibly inspirational, and together, we are making a significant difference in the lives of people we serve. Thank you for being a part of this transformative journey. Have a wonderful Monday!
